About Ed…

It’s 2019 and I am finally launching a blog! There is always much to do, at work and at home, but I can’t keep certain things to myself any longer! πŸ™‚

The blog will mostly contain technical content. With my work for Dell EMC since 2010 and in particular in the VxRail unit since last year, it will most probably be about everything HCI, virtualization, VxRail and more of the same!

My passion has always been technical and data oriented. I have worked in database and data warehouse design, development and maintenance, big data (I was part of the team that developed the Greenplum Data Computing Appliance in EMC), Greenplum POC projects, etc. This was followed by several years in the Enterprise Hybrid Cloud (EHC) team, where we developed Oracle-as-a-Service using VMware’s vRealize Suite, followed by automating the installation of NSX during EHC deployment using Python.

All this tech stuff is great, but I never forget that I work with fantastic people and without them I would be nowhere. Great teamwork and collaboration (local and global) bring great energy and that drives everything. Last but not least, my no.1 is my family at home, who keep me on the straight and narrow πŸ™‚

Enjoy my blog.
